Carol Becker, Academic Vice President and Dean
at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, is the author

the Anxiety of Change; Zones of Contention: Essays on Art,
Institutions, Gender and Anxiety; (editor) The Subversive
Imagination: Artists, Society and Social Responsibility;

conference on Art and Society at the Art Institute of Chicago
in 1994.
